        belle preferred to think of herself as the forgiving sort, and certainly one who didn’t hold grudges, but there were, of course, exceptions. “ i don’t want your concern, regina. ” she hadn’t meant to sound so cold, but she could only play nice for so long. belle acknowledged and accepted that she’d changed, but it didn’t make their past go away. she wasn’t like snow or david- she couldn’t look past all she’d gone through because of regina (and, despite knowing it was warranted, she felt an absurd amount of guilt for that).
